Most raw power; Edge Comp

Most Power with lots of features; Edge Juice with Attitude

Best programmer to flash the ECU; Smarty

It all depends what you are looking for from your truck, and what you budget is.

I guess my question is, should I get the a different chip instead of my quadzilla adrenaline? I only have the control pod, no v2 monitor. The tune level down button is starting to go out in the quad:/ and my truck is getting a new vp

You are aware Quadzilla is no more, correct? With that said, no factory repair option.

The Quad is a strong fueling box, and I doubt you will see much of a gain of power going to either Edge. The Edge Juice with Attitude (EJWA) will have a monitor and have lots of options.

there are other options as well...

Ed on cumminsforum does quadzilla repairs...

I can do pulse monitor button modifications to make the buttons work again and work 100x better than new original...

never done a control pod though or ever seen one so I dunno about that one.

as for other fueling box options...

tst comp stacked with a TS MVP, edge EZ, or smarty is a popular mod that fuels harder than the edge.

adrenaline fuels harder than the edge as well, and you can still download tunes to the adrenaline.

I put up a site right after quad went out of business to provide the tunes and documentation that quad used to provide on their website. all free of charge for the public to use. I don't ask for donations or anything because a buddy of mine is piggybacking it on one of his web servers so it's not costing anyone anything.

everything has already been virus scanned prior to upload, so all should be perfectly safe

http://scotch.unixmail.org/quadtunes/

I have no affiliation with quadzilla though so don't go asking me all the tech questions. I just had tons of people on cumminsforum come together and share tunes they had with me to put that site together. so I have XZT+ and adrenaline tunes and documentation on there.

upgrade your lift pump, get gauges, (fuel pressure being the most important) and if you have an auto then you need to build the trans before adding power or you will destroy it..

if you have a manual then a clutch upgrade will do the trick.

I didn't get to the power level I'm at cheaply... I did take some cheaper options for supporting mods by doing my homework, but overall it still costs a lot of money to build it up and keep it reliable.

and even then its still not reliable...(nothing to do with performance parts..just age ) damn heater core went out so I have my dash all torn apart waiting on parts. sigh...always waiting on parts...

Hello. Thanks for your help. Do you think the combination of an Edge EZ chip, a muffler delete pipe, and a cold air intake would be improvements that would stand alone without additional expense? How much horsepower would that give me? I just want something that will pull long hills and get me thru the Rocky Mountains without going down to 4WD LOW. I have an auto trans. Running factory 215 horsepower now if I read it right. I think they hung this same tranny behind the 325 HP 5.9 thru early 2007.
