Default Whats Easier On Airdog Install

I am going to be installing an Airdog 150 as soon as i get it here and am wondering if it would be easier to lift the bed off the frame or drop the tank. Just seeing if anyone has any experience with doing it either way and whats easiest. Thanks

Personally I drop the tank when I have to work on these things. I can drop it in less then a half hour from loosing the first first fitting to out from under the truck and put it back in place in less then 45 minutes from the time I start slidin it back under the truck to finished. This of course doesn't include siphon time cause that can vary from minutes to an hour depending on how much fuel you have but it's easy to do. Dropping the tank also gives you the chance to clean it out good.

Pulling the bed is much easier and faster but makes it more difficult to clean the tank out with it still mounted.

It depends on what you have in/on your bed. We have dropped multiple tanks at the cave and have yet to pull a bed. I personally think that it is easier to drop the tank, I can have it out in less than 5 minutes, but I have dropped about a dozen tanks on second and third gens in the last two months. If you have a lift and a transmission jack I would drop the tank. If you are doing it on the ground, I would pull the bed.

Id pull the bed, I dont know about you others but dirt roads and being under the truck knocking crap around doesnt work out so well for my eyeballs. I plan on pulling the bed then power washing the frame and such and if needed Ill pull the tank off to remove debris

I always pull the tank just cause I don't have any way of lifting the bed and puttin it back down in what I consider a controlled manner. I'm usually workin by myself on this stuff. All I use to drop the tank is two of the little junk tie down straps. The cheap ones work the best. One under each end of the tank lets you drop it and put it back up the same way by yourself quick and clean.

I think i would have better tools for lifting the bed off like a cherry picker and stuff. I agree with not liking getting dirt in the eyes when laying under the pickup.
