If you are looking to max out the SOVP44, 6x.013s are the cat's meow.

I don't want to max it out but pretty close. I want a safe distance from maxxed out. I dont have any gauges yet, so i have no idea what my truck is doing boost egt and fuel pressure wise.

Won't 7x.012s offer better atomization?

^^I agree...

you need to do supporting mods before you even consider running an injector like that...

a 7x.012 SAC injector will add power in the 200-240hp+ range... without supporting mods this can be very dangerous for your engine.

gauges are needed first and foremost..

0-30psi fuel pressure
0-60spi boost
EGT
Trans temp (if you have an auto, or a moderately to heavily modified engine on a manual)

I run all of the above gauges and then some... (I have 2 boost gauges due do compound twin turbos)

Your lift pump should be more than adequate to fuel a vp44 to the max, but you still need gauges to make sure everything operates within safe limits.

your stock turbo will not be enough to compensate for a 7x.012.

since you want a safe distance from maxing out a SOVP44, you might look into a 7x.010 (~150hp+) or 7x.011 (~175hp+) injector.

7x.010 can be run with the stock turbo as long as you don't use wiretap fueling from a fueling box... 7x.011 might get a little toasty but with right foot control you can keep the EGT's within safe limits (1250 or less for sustained durations or 1500 or less for momentary durations..as in seconds, not minutes...)
