bd exhaust brake

YES!! It is worth fixing. take the air valve off of the intake horn (should have air lines going into it from the vacuum pump and then going to the exhaust brake cylinder by the turbo) sometimes it will have a build up of soot inside that makes the valve stick. Just take out the screws out of each end. one at a time, as i messed the re-assembly of mine up when i did mine. clean it out with brakeclean and apply some silicon lubricant and re-assemble. worked like a charm for me. I generally have to do this every 6 months or so to keep it from locking up. really sucks when it does this as the truck will hardly move and smokes like a bugger. let me know how it works for you
sorry don't have my truck with me today otherwise I would show you a picture of the air valve.
