Default Turbo gurus - need help on choosing right turbo

hey guys, ok so its definitely turbo time for my truck, and i know i want to go with an Industrial Injection turbo. Just not sure which one is right pick for me. Heres what currently done to my truck as well as what i may do in future and what i plan to do with the truck. Its a 2001 HO 6 spd truck.

Edge COMP hot unlock
7x.011 injectors (150s-ish)
3 pc exhaust manifold
O ringed head
ARP studs
AFE bladerunner intake horn
head ported/polished
FASS 150
4" DP to 5" exhaust

Thats main mods done to engine. Also has a SBC 3600 Dual Disc clutch in it.

As far as how itll be driven etc, itll be a "hot street" truck, meaning lots of playing around etc. Itll be used to occasionally tow trailers, rarely exceeding 10k lbs, but sometimes. I also am going to have it on both the drag track as well as the transfer sled track. So i need a turbo thatll be able to compete with those guys.

As far as future mods go, ill be possibly, if not definitely upgrading from my 7x.011s to an injector closer to the 200-220 range, i also will be eventually adding a smarty to stack with my edge. i WILL in the near future being a cam swap as well as upgraded valve springs and push rods.

As far as driveability, i want a turbo that can EASILY handle everything ive mentioned without worry of breakage etc. Basically, i want something strong. I dont mind having some turbo lag, however i dont want it to be a complete dog until like 2500 RPM. I also want something that i know will keep my EGTs down in a manageable range.

Im looking into the Super Phatshaft and Silver Bullet series turbos, however, they dont give all specs for both lines of turbos in diff sizes. So if you know know all the tech info on these turbos, itd be greatly appreciated if you could share that with me.

Thanks guys! Hope ive given all info i need to help make the right choice!

Is there any particular reason you are dead set on a II turbo?

as is, your truck doesn't even really need a new turbo yet...I would worry about swapping out your injection pump for a SOVP44 before you worry about bumping up injector size...

HOVP44s (High Output VP44) have 7mm fuel plungers in them and have great difficulty trying to push past the 500hp barrier. SOVP44s (Standard Output VP44) have 7.5mm fuel plungers in them and will gain you a good 100+hp over the HOVP44.. It is a direct bolt in swap with no reprogramming needed to use on a HO truck.

You will loose a little bit of bottom end power, but that is a small price to pay for the huge (100+hp) gain in the mid to top end range...

as for turbos: do you want to stick with a single, or go with twins?

A single is better if you want to compete in sled pulls as it will keep you in a more competitive power class, where twins will put you in more of an unlimited power class...

however if you don't care about the above draw back, twins are better in every way... your power will come in a LOT sooner, they will support a wider range of injectors to give you room to grow, towing is a dream with twins, and street manners are excellent...

they other draw back is twins can potentially cost more, but not as much as you may think...there are some very nice budget kits out there than can get you into twins for a reasonable cost.

so IF you swap to a SOVP, and go with a single...a 62/71/14 or 63/68/14 would do well with the 7x.011's or you can deal with a little more lag now and do 64/71/14 that will support future 7x.012s can also do a 66/74/14 with 7x.012 SAC or 6x.013's

if you go the twin route with a SOVP:

you can do some of the following combos (there are more but I'll keep the list short for simplicity's sake)

hx35 over bht3b
hx35 over S475
s300g over S475 (300G = 57/65/12)
super b single over S475 (super b single = 57/65/14)
62/65/12 over S475
etc..

for S475 you have two popular options...

the faster spooling 75/88/1.10ar which is great for competition use
or the slightly slower spooling 75/96/1.32ar which is great for daily drivers and towing. smooths out the acceleration a bit and lets the secondary stage do a bit more work for most of your driving until you get heavier into the throttle and then the primary will start cooling things off and ramping up the boost level quite a bit...

I run a 57/65/14 over 75/96/1.32 in my daily driver with custom 6x.013 injectors. absolutely love the setup. I see boost pretty early (like 1400) and have the hard hit of acceleration at 1600-1800rpm (really depends on gear and what rpm I floor it at)
