Default New Fass 150 truck just dies!!!

I just installed a Fass 150 HD for my truck and it was fine for the first 2 days but the other morning my tri I just shut off at a red light. I cracked open the inlet elbow to the vp44 and let the Fass pump the air out of the lines and it started right up after cranking for a few minutes. Then the next day it happened again and couldn't get it started and had to trailer it home. I also have installed a Sinister diesel sump. It is sucking air somewhere just don't know where. Is it possibly the fuel tank too low on fuel. I had just under 1/4 tank when it happened. Anyone else have this problem with a sump instead of draw straw?

shouldnt have a problem with 1/4 or less in the tank if you have a fuel sump... thats the point of the sump. i would check all the fittings on the fass and make sure there all tight then crack injectors 1,3 and 4 and try cranking it, make sure theres fuel in your fuel filter

The sump is the problem. the 2 times my truck died on me on my way to work, i was stopping as the truck died. the fuel sloshes forward and then the fass sucks air through the sump from the semi empty fuel tank. i reteflon taped the fittings and made sure they were all tight and even put hose clamps on them and filled it up and it was fine. im gonna go back to the draw straw if it continues to be a problem. it sure does look sick though.
