For some reason I can't get on CF any more. I moved to a different house and ever since then I haven't been able to get CF to even load up. It just comes up as that interent explorer page cannot be displayed crap.

I ran an AFE on an old truck and liked it, but my vote would be the ATS model...... I have heard great stuff about it

This sounds interesting-

Peak HP. The area under he curve is somewhat perplexing as it is the least accurate to measure due to torque rise. However, all of the manifolds tried on teh test truck were of the "venturi" type. They due seem to provide a small benefit to low boost spool, but appear to hinder airflow at higher flow rates. Without the proper pressure test equipmant, I have to only guess.

This was the same dyno, same day, about an hour for all runs.

Best power came from a simple continuous diamter arc and that is the only one that gained power. We now cary one that functions in a similar manner to that old test unit. And the old one was nothing more than some scarred up exhaust tubing bent in the correct shape welded to a flange.

The bottom line is second gens don't gain much. 3rd gen users report the bottom and lower mid range feels like hey added a box. So, there clearly is much more restriction in the later example. I am working on some prototype stuff to see if I can get a better transition across the intake on the cheap.

Looks really nice!

But like stated above it seems to me as if it was just one nice radius instead of two bends then it would perform better. I'm sure it wouldn't be a huge gain at all, heck it might no be any difference at all.

I'll keep the stocker. I think all of them are cool I just dont see how they can take people for so much money. I patiently waited thinking once all these companies offered there own the price would drop. I think I'll save up for a 3" U bend a flange, some grinding disks, and a can of paint.
