Default turbo time!!!!

i would like to up grade my turbo!!! anyone have any ideas on a good turbo and as cheap as possible thanks

HX35/40 Hybrid kit. $300 or so, a little machining, and you have a decent turbo.

The center section needs to have the compressor wheel recess milled out to accept the bigger wheel. The last post in this thread shows what has to be machined:

Salvage yards can have what you're looking for. CAT C7's have s300's (57-63mm wheels). And you can find HX40's on some F700-800.

not to steal the thread but where would you go about buying a 35/40 hybrid kit?? i used to build turbos for a living so it wont be a problem doin just want to get it all at once.

I bough one done up for my old truck I had. It ran too hot with my weak set up and I sold the truck before upgrading. In other words I have it sitting in a box in my shed for possible sale.
