Default ?? about FP guage mechanical versus electric.

I am in the middle of installing my guages. I am wanting to know. I have a mechanical isspro FP guage, I have an isolator for said guage. My ? is can I get an electrical guage and use my same isolater?? In my mind I don't see why not. So looking for opinions and advice. I had priced out an auto meter guage for reasonable until they added the cost of an isolator.
Also I had post in the non performance side, about finding how tos on how to tie my FP guage in. I am also installing my airdog I all at the same time. So where is the best place to tie into the fuel line to get the most dependable reading.
Thanks

Most dependable reading is the banjo bolt where the fuel line enters the injector pump.
If you get an electric gauge you won't need an isolator.
