So the head is off of my truck, my original plan was to get the head o ringed, but i cant find anyone near me that can do it, I have a 20 over marine head gasket, arp head studs, plan on getting the head milled flat, My question is how much can that setup take? With not doing the o rings.

 

Don't know, but everyone I know who mills heads flat can also o-ring them, so that sounds a little odd.

 

yeah i called 20 machine shops monday morning everbody said they could do a block but not the head

i did arp with .20 marine hg and im pushing 60lbs on single d tech 64 charger, planning on my compound next

 

Yeah I decided Screw the o rings, just gonna do the 20 over marine gasket and studs, got my head back today so its flat now, picked up some 90 horse injectors as well so I am ready to get it back together!

The jig to o-ring the heads are quiet high. So only places that will have stiff do do that is big time machine shops that do a lot of high performance engines

 

i ran 60 on stock head bolts and head gasket never had and issues
