Default Rack plug with with plate?

So is it pointless to put the after market rack plug in if my 100 plate is in the middle? I'm doing my timing cover gasket/kdp/pump timing soon and was thinking it would be easy to throw the rack plug in while the cover is off. I have the 160 pump and I can bury the pyro with the plate slid forward all the way. Thanks

Well I went ahead and ordered a plug from sdx. Even if I can't use the extra fuel right away I'll have it in there for the future, hopefully I'll be able to fit it in without grinding the cover.

the rack plug gives you 2mm more travel. you will only benifit from this plug in the top end fueling or to the floor situations. prolly about time for a 4in exhaust.
