There is more to the rate of flow of an injector that just cross-sectional area.

I know of at least one dyno sheet that shown that HP numbers for 5x.014 VCO injectors and 7x.010 SAC injectors are almost identical, only 0.5hp apart, with torque numbers about 30ftlbs less for the 7 holes. Now if the comparison was between 5x.014's and 7x.010's, with both SAC, there is a good chance the 5x.014 would win the battle, but I have not seen this dyno tested.
