Default Really Quick Fuel Plate Lesson....

i know i got to take the top cover off the pump, virgin pump so i got to fight with the tamper bolt, i will be messing with the star wheel some and it screws clockwise so i got that covered........anyone got a picture of how to slide the plate forward and where its located, or can someone tell me???? i might also grind it if he wants, im doing this for a buddy of mine, last p-pump i touched was about 3 1/2 years ago......im getting rusty.....anything else i can do quickly, its in an FL70 Freight Shaker.........thanks ahead of time guys......

remove the four bolts on the AFC housing (where the star wheel is lokated) then lostenen the two bolts that mont the fuel plate slide it forward at tighten everything back up if you have any problems look at the thread that says "turning up a 12v" it will show you

slide it to the front of the truck im assuming?????

Yes you will slide it forward to add more fuel. This will entern give you more power.

oh hey bud whats going on

definately and when you turn your star wheel make shure you turn it toward the block

yeah i knew the star wheel went to the front, i wasnt sure on the plate though.....im used to working with rotary's...

gotcha its very eisy to do it only took me about 10 minutes but i had to remove my intake manifold to get to the bolts on the AFC housing

put a boost elbow in your turbo to fool the wastegate all i dod was put a hose clamp arong my hose comming from my AFC to the wastegate untill i get my elbow
