Ditto on the 5x0.14's. Coupled with the DV's, they will provide the 66 plenty of fuel to burn. Anything bigger than those and you need to go to a compound setup unless its a straight pull truck.

And guys, lay off, he jacked with us about the smoke, now he's asking a legit question so try to give him a legit answer

I was responding to a post so watch who your calling a moron. And I disagree with the correct TC setup you can make a 66/74 a good DD. Is it the perfect match for everyone NO. Is it going to be smokeless NO. But for some people its a perfect match.

I'm with Dave. I think this setup is good for a low 600#.

OK on a serious note what makes the 180 pump less desireable and where does the 215 stand compared to the others

Ditto on y a 160 or 175 before 180....
And Ur question, the 215 has the plungers that retard the timing if u advance the rack too far.
If I understand correctly a 180 has the same cam as a 215 but with good flat tops. Feel free to add if u know otherwise for certain.

the 180 and 215 have the quick rate cam. And like stated the 215 retards timing past a certain point. The 180 is probably the best all around pump for actual performance on the track. However on the street the 160 and 175 fuel hard down low and work better in the daily driver setup.

This all goes out the window when your talking about 13mm.
