I really need to get my timing bumped up. I keep on saying I'm going to do it, but just never get around to it.

It appears that as though the more advanced the timing, the more risk you take with a HG. The more I think about it, why would boost matter? Drive pressure maybe, but boost? Even if you run 100 psi that doesn't even come close to the head pressure during combustion. I would think higher drive pressure would be more of a detriment than boost.

Heat and cylinder pressure kill head gaskets. Boost, timing, fueling, drive pressure, and etc, are all factors in how long your gasket lives. Although, having a flat head and deck is the biggest factor in whether you blow a gasket or not. If it's flat, and your bolts are really tight, the gasket can handle a lot!

60 more psi of boost does not equal 60 more psi of head pressure.
