Default Turbo Recommendations

I have a few questions. Im pretty new to the diesel world, and in my area there are a lot of diesel guys, most that modify the living hell out of their trucks. What I hear from them and what I read online, in mags, or hear from people outside my town is two different things. According to all them its perfectly fine to throw 5x14s in a truck with a stock turbo, its fine to run 40+ psi on an hx35 and so on. I want to do things right with this truck cause it took a lot for me to get it and I worked hard to get it to where it is now (rebuilt front end and lots of interior and body work). Right now, I've got a FASS HD, 0 Plate FF, cranked startwheel, grinded down the AFC foot, has a BHAF, and the previous owner removed the wastegate and welded the housin on the HX35. If it let my truck itll hit 40 psi on the HX35 which I persoanlly think is to high. Ive thrown the idea out to them that I wanna get an aftermarket turbo (Been looking at BD Super B kits) and they all say if you wanna run a bigger turbo you need DVs, injectors, head studs, and GSK for it to run right. Others in surrounding towns have told me I could throw a Super B on my truck now and see great improvement over stock. So what is really the best to do? Could I throw an aftermarket turbo on my truck the way it stands or do i need those upgrades? Whats a good upgrade besides to Super B (just what ive been considering). I wanna do this right, and not blow my baby up.

Well, when I get my paycheck wednesday, I am going to order the 4k kit that includes the valve springs, get the special valve compressor and do that. Its an auto. You guys dont think I need to be getting DVs injectors and studs for a slightly upgreaded turbo like the super B? Are there any other (cheaper) turbos yall would recommend?

No DV's and studs arent mandatory but I would re torque your stock bolts. I would look into a good set of 5x.12 sticks though.
