Default head gasket

So i took the head off of my 12v to do new head gasket and studs, but now I'm being told I was better off leaving the head on and replacing the studs cause now my head could have warped and when i put the new gasket n studs in ill blow my gasket out cause the head won't be clamped correctly to the block???? Is this true? And also can i get some info if any of u are running more then 50psi with stock gasket n Apr studs?? Herd u can

probably should get it trued since it's off. My head took a .015 cut to get it flat and still had a stain between three and four. Your this deep, probably would hate to lick it again for the 80 bucks or so it cost to get it cut.

I bought a different kind and don't have it running. What I've read if your head is true and torqued right they should easily. I'm running up to 55 on a stock 24 valve no studs and 327,000 miles.
