1995 cummins electronics
ok so i am buying a cummins out of a 1995 dodge 3500. i am planing on putting it in my chevy, but i need to know what electronics i will need in order to run the engine in my chevy. i am going to be doing a manual trans so i dont need any electronics for the trans. thanks in advanced for any help on this topic.

grid heaters wont work without PCM control, but a toggle takes care of that....if you even need the heaters that is!
sending units prolly won't convert, but they are standard pipe threaded stuff so can be swapped and bushed to use your truck's flavor.
fuel rack solenoid needs crank position voltage to pull, and ign voltage to hold....or put a cable kill on it.
Alternator wont charge because the regulator is part of the ECM more or less. but the alt being ext regulated means any regulator will work, either pos or neg field or with both pos and neg field leads. the field studs are on the back, underneath the output stud...8mm nuts. the alt is insulated field, so polarity won't matter on the studs.
think that's about it!
