Default Turbo A/R 1.51?

What do you all think of this turbo
Compressor: 61.5mm inducer,87.4mm exducer
Turbine: 79.9 mm inducer, 70.8mm exducer
Housing A/R: Compressor: .55, with 4.0" hose-type inlet, and 3.0" hose-type discharge
Turbine : 1.51, with 'T04' type turbine inlet flange, and quick-release v-band discharge

what worries me is the A/R of the Turbine housing. Any opinions on this set up at about 450-500hp truck thats a DD and occassonal tow rig?? any ideas on what a quickspool turbine houses A/R is?

don't think a 1.51 A/R is right ... 1.15 a/r sounds much better it. with that housing that turbo is not a good choice, with a .9 t4 it would work if you don't mind a little lag

Thats what I thought. I just wanted to get some other opinions. I know some stuff about turbos, but A/R I am still learing about...

Well if it's a Borg Warner with those wheel sizes it would most likely be a 62/71 s300 with a big t4 housing you can get a smaller t4 or a expensive t3. But I have no idea if Borgwarner made housings that big I'll go look.

Well thanks Lostnwalmart, let me know if you find anything. Any ideas on where to find a better housing?

S300's did come with a 1.51 turbine. If the turbo is cheap the buy it and upgrade it to a smaller sized housing. If I recall correctly most performance t3's use a .83 but they are not cheap due to the built in waste gate and it will be a bolt on. I prefer t4's for the cost and flow but it won't be a bolt on but it is not hard to modify to work. Forced inductions, htt, Ed, bulls eye are a few to get ya started on finding a new one.
