4k's installed
Just got done installing my 4k gsk's, and I'm pretty happy with the results...
I may need to do some adjustment to them, but I'm planning on taking the truck to a guy I know, and having him test drive it, and let me know what he thinks, before I do, but all in all, it wasn't too bad to do. I did have one major scare, where I thought I dropped a shim into the pump, but after looking around for a while, I realized that it was still stuck in the back of the hole. PHEW!
So, once I get the 4k gsks dialed in properly, assuming they're not already, I'm pulling the AFC off, and retuning it, since I just got the timing adjusted, and my Goerend billet single and valve body installed into the truck. The KDP's been killed, I did that last weekend on a whim. KDP was still recessed, but several of my bolts were loose, so I loctited them and torqued them down. Also, it seams that taking out the timing cover gasket, and replacing it with RTV seemed to clear up my oil leak, from the engine. I still need to do my vac pump/ps pump, and then I need to do both front axle seals...not looking forward to that, since I've done them before!!
Truck feels like a completely different beast now, with both the timing and the 4ks installed!

timing is set at 16 degrees, and I just used the click method. A buddy of mine told me to go initial plus 3, but I didn't get his text till I'd already set them, and I'd gone inital plus 4. Other than timing, tc/vb, 4ks, and screwing around a bit in the AFC, that's about all I've got for my setup.
