Which Turbo woud you recommend?
I have a 95 12v with 040 over Marine pistons with a 155* bowl bottom end is balanced, head studs, .020 marine head gasket with o-rings, heavy duty valve springs, 4k gov spring kit, Southern Diesel Extreme 140hp injectors with .015 pintle lift added and edge filters removed, and Stock HX35 turbo.
The trans is fully built by Tim Barber with kevlar clutches, custom valve body, billet input/output shafts, stock intermediate shaft, DTT triple disk converter, MAGTEC deep sump oil pan, liquid to liquid trans cooler.
My question is what do you guys think is the best reliable turbo that i can put on my truck with these mods? with the stock turbo my egt's get pretty high when pulling and i'd like to lower the EGT's. plus im always game for a lil more power
I was thinking maybe a s300 or something similar?

64/71 will light a little faster than a 64/73 but the 73 will flow more air. If it was me I would run the 64/71 and go with that for a while then down the road you have the perfect secondary turbo for a huge variety of compound setups.
