Default How to get decent hp/tq from 99 block

Hi I'm there I recently got my cummings going in my aussie patrol 4x4 now im looking to build a high hp high tq comp engine for my truck

But as Australia has very few cummings I can't find any info/parts it's well over $70k us for a decent 2003 truck

A parts list basic brake down would be good for 700hp/1000tq at the flywheel

I just start loosing it when u guys start talking about adreline pumps and stuff like that.

My current engine in comp truck is a twin turbo 4.2 diesel with about 300rwhp and I just cant compeate with them any longer

first off if you want to build high hp/torque engine for just pulling start with a 98 or older 12v truck with a mechanical pump, when you go to 98.5 and newer you get electronic pumps and need to buy electronic boxes/tuners/chips to make power,if you stay mech.you can modify pumps ,change injectors and add/swap turbo fairly cheap compared to the electronic trucks you might want to post in the 94-98 section I'm sure the guys in there can help you make the power you are looking for

Default How to make good power from a 5.9

Ok so looks like I need a earlyier block easy enough.

Now I'm no retard when it comes to working on a petrol proformace engine but these diesels are alot more picky

So I need a 12v engine what else and how does nitro injection go on a diesel engine
What kind of psi can my turbos run at?
Recommend a turbo set up I'd prefer sequential turbos (different sized) so I can drive arround with one boosting and one barely spooling then when I need the large amounts of power I can spool the other one up with high rpm.

Unless u can run a kind of boost controller.

I've seen some monsters on here 1000hp/2000tq hell on earth did u get those figures!!!! And is that vechicle streetable and reliable

Put it this our goal u's 2 beat the 454 twin turbo and supercharged truck
