Default 5000 or 5500 rpm gsk

has anyone used or had experience with any 5000 or 5500 gsk. Where is a good place to get the springs?
Thanks in advance

Stock bottom end is only good for about 4500. From what I have heard. Maybe with a good balance job and a good dampener may get some more.

smokey, what mods have you done so far? gsk should not be considered unless you have already modded other things such as your fuel plate, got bigger injectors, etc as far as i know.

other people will likely chime in; and if you HAVE done any other mods to your truck you should put them in your sig so people know what you are workin with-

A 4k will do you fine, it'll fuel 'til about 4200, but you'll need exhaust valve springs.
Then a fuel plate, 4" exhaust, turbo....
How much more do you want to spend?

sorry about not writing everything in the sig I will fix that. the only reason i am asking is because I want all the fuel I can get (go big or go home) I am about to do lots of head work and get some twins, but it looks like maybe the 4ks will do. my truck has suncoast trans, guages, 4" exh, bhaf, no plate, mack plug, gutted afc, and soon to have a gsk, delivery valves, 435 injectors, stage 2 head, fire rings, studs, twins with hx35 top s400 bottom, water meth. and probably more later down the road.
thanks for the info guys

you will NOT want a 5k kit without having more air. These things get sooo hot sooo quick over about 3500rpms.

But if you gotta..... just get the 4k kit and you will be more than happpy.

I have a 5K in my Little truck.

The 5K is WILD. I wouldn't recommend having a 5K done unless you are just going for stupid fuel. A 4K with the right setup can actually be tweaked to the mid 4's

The only way I would do a 5K is with the pump off of the truck and on a pump stand. Much easier to get it dialed in that way.

The 4K will have more than enough bottom end fuel for you, as long as you have the supporting mods.
