New Valair 500hp Clutch Slipping
A couple things puzzle me here. Valair doesn't make an Organic/Feramic clutch, but SouthBend does and there rated around 450hp & 900ft.lbs. He doesn't say he has a Ceramic clutch, as someone else stated. If it a Valair, to be rated at 500hp & 1000lb. Ft it would be a full Ceramic/Kevlar clutch, which is what I have. You'd have to have one hell of a motor to make this clutch slip. I didn't find any Feramic clutch disc on Valairs site. And an Organic disc is stock stuff, not something you'd use for a built motor. And you wouldn't make a disc with stock organic type lining on one side, and ceramic on the other. Get your facts straight and tell use about your truck (what is really has right now).

These kits are also available for the 5spds as well as 5spds converting to a 13" Clutch.

you have a 500cc 12mm ppump and 5x.012 injectors and 18* of timing with a 57/65/?? super b? I bet your egt's are sky high. get a dual disk 3600 6 button with the 1 3/8 input shaft and a bigger turbo like a 64 mm and have some fun
I just had a 450 hp 1000 torque ceramic/metallic from southbend installed . I was shocked when it slipped more than the oem clutch with 225000 miles on it . I did not know about a break in period, but it has been suggested that it might take some time to seat in . Sounds weird to me . I just had edge jammer 100 hp nozzles installed and I want to stomp it
