Leaving it in doesn't help any either, unless you have too much fuel for the turbo/s

Well I'm not just a kid wanting to blow smoke, I'm trying to get some good input/advice on the best setup for a pulling truck. After this summer it probably won't ever see the road again just the track. And I havnt pulled the plate I was just suggesting it to see if it would be a good idea or not.

Yes, it's a good idea. Just make sure you have the AFC dialed in.

i wasnt meaning that for u but like i said i have a very very competitive 2.8 truck and it will be a 3.0 truck this year cuz of the new nadm rules I DO RUN A FUEL PLATE and i did when i made 849 hp at the rear wheels also unlike most people i have a dyno sheets to prove that.. and i also know for a fact all the guys with mod trucks run like schied diesel and haisley machine all run fuel plates with no afc foot so what im getting at isim sure the guys that have 1500hp trucks and build these trucks for a living have a damn good idea of what they are doing.. and also Curt haisley is a personal friend of mine thats how i know im not tryin to be a "know it all" so please dont take it like that but i have been around the block with these trucks im just tryin to give u some advice if u would like a second opinion on what im suggesting u can call one of my sponsors and get his input on this he is always willing to give advice and help out anyway he can as far as this kinda thing his name is mike and his company is Garofalo ent diesel performance and his web address is garofaloent.com good luck bud

you posted false info and got called out on it. We corrected you and you got your panties in a bunch and started name dropping.

i've been running plateless for well over a year now with absolutely no negative effects. well except for a smoked stock auto trans.... but that has been taken care of. i firmly believe the only time a fuel plate should be in the pump is if your trying to baby a stock trans or clutch...
