So i picked up a HTT 66/71/13 the other day for a price i couldnt pass up, but i know i dont have what it takes to spool it good at the moment, so the question would be what would be a good route to take to be able to use said turbo on my dd or is it to big? also need opinions on a good clutch for dd and mild towing/playing.

Head and manifold port/gasket match. Also turbo/manifold blankets will help, you can get those for 200 bucks a set from ED. If you haven't done a GSK yet I'd recommend it, so that once you get it spooled you can keep it spooled. Tune your AFC as best you can. And you are gonna want head studs at the least (or retorque stock bolts if you feel risky), and orings if you can swing it.

Also, it won't be much good for towing really heavy, but will be damn fun if you can get it to light.

yup. Nothing beats head work though, so a good P&P goes a long way.
