gearing, fuel mileage, bigger tires.
alright well first off id like to say that i was getting around or close to 500 miles to the tank with my sending unit bad thats how i kept up with when i needed fuel this is with the mods i have n my sig with stock street tires 245s this winter i put 285 bfg all terrains on and bumped my idle to 750 in drive with ac on it idles in park at like 900-50 this helped alot when warming my truck up before school it starts better and warms up quicker. before it was idleing at 500 but when it was real cold n not plugged up it was at 300-50 so im wondering if tires could be killing my millage? could my speed be off? i did a lil test by watching my odometer with mile markers on the road. and it doesnt seem to be off. could bumping my idle, bigger tires and letting it idle for 15-20 n the mornings hurt it so bad? i just filled up and had 285 miles on the tank and it held 22 gals. thats like 14.9 to the gal. before i was getting like 17ish ? any ideas?
