Default new fuel plate and now no power??

i put in a new fuel plate tonight (#100) and before i pulled it in the shop tonight it ran perfect. after i installed it, it has no power at all . it wont go faster than 35 or 40 unless its goin down a hill. and everytime it shifts it bogs way down. it seems like its not getting enough fuel or somethin. any feedback would be great. thanks

Sounds like maybe your plate is too far back

i will. ive also heard from another forum that the rubber hose on the back of the AFC may have got loosened so then the AFC sees no boost, so you get no fuel. ill keep ya posted tomorrow

I would just take the plate out. you don't need it anyway. It won't hurt anything.

I had the same problem with my 94,my nephew changed the plate to a 6 i think it was and i lost all power. He fooled around with it for hours and still no power. Finally he went and got his zero plate and put it in and now its back to normal.Still its not right that it wouldent run with a 6 and runs with the zero, this was 2 yrs ago and he hasent come back to look at it,.Im pretty sure my pump is very tired it had 625,000 klicks on it and im not sure if its the original or not
