new diesel, info?
sup guys, picked up a 94 in good shape, had a b2 jammer turbo, #10 fuel plate, and striahgt piped 4in turbo back.
lookin for some easy, cheap/free ways to make some more power and roll a little more smoke. anything'll help thanks!
also, i was lookin to get a short shifter for the 4500, but its only offered for 98 up, wats the difference? will it work on mine?
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
was also wonderin if there is anyone out there that makes lowering kits for 2500 diesels? mines 2wd.

With the New Venture 4500 the shifting stubb is different, I also have thought about putting a short shift kit on mine and its a 95. The short shift kit is set up to work with the threaded stub, 14mm x 1.5 pitch threads while ours are different set up...
Shifter Stub Specification
The NV4500 shifter will have a short stub sticking up from the top cover, There are 3 different methods by which a shifter extension handle attaches:
Dodge NV4500 1993-1999 A short, square stub sticks up
Dodge NV4500 1999-up Threaded stub, 14mm x 1.5 pitch threads
GM NV4500 (All) Threaded stub, 12mm x 2.0 pitch threads
NV4500 Transmission Exploded View
hope this helps!

FREE: pull out your ten plate cut it to a zero. follow the afc modding thread.adjust timing
note: ( some people dont like the zero for the street, IMO its fine i like it)
CHEAP:governer spring kit, delivery valves, do a bhaf (unless your already have a free flowing intake),
on another note, you do have guages correct?

make sure you get gauges!
check this out for profiles of plates, from what i know milage will vary depending if your foots in it or not.

and for directions and ideas on modifying the fuel plate...

you can. though i have read a few place on here that say that the 100 fuel plate is better... they governer arm that starts at the bottom of the plate and runs up the plate. with the 0 plate you get full fuel all the time so while you have no boost your esensally dumping excesive amounts of fuel with not enought air/boost to use all the fuel. with the 100 plate its the fuel is lessened when there is no boost. so with enough fuel and air your egts will be lower than they would be with a 0 plate.
