I've played around a little with both. They're both good in that they create power and lower your egts. But with NOS alone, the fuel burns really fast, and it's pretty hard on everything. If you do NOS along with water/meth, then the water/meth helps slow the burn down a tad. Gives you good power, and it's a little easier on the engine.

If you're going to use NOS to make up for a small turbo, make sure you have an external wastegate or your turbo will grow wings and fly away.

Water/meth works good on a street engine. Not much bad to say about it, except there's more cylinder pressure from having more power. The key is to get the right size water droplets into the engine. Use multiple medium sized nozzles, a 200 psi pump, plan on about 2ccs per hp. Use multiple stages and/or a progressive controler.

I finally got tired of the relays, solenoids, hoses and etc and switched to twins. It's just easier and works better.

It's like they say, Nitrous is like a hot girl with aids, you want to hit it, but it might not be worth the risk!

so true. I haven't run it, but wouldn't pass up the chance if I had the coin at an opportune time.
Spray is different between diesels and gassers completely. On a gasser, a kit will be injecting fuel and air. Gassers also lose a lot at a less than prime fuel/air ratio compared to a forced induction diesel. N2O is an oxidizer, think of it as really condensed air. It oxidizes enough that you can lean out a diesel to the point of hurting it.

I don't know a lot about the meth side of water meth, but one of the systems can definitely be used to bring down IATs and overall gas temp through the whole motor. I also haven't heard anything negative to running 20% meth in a setup.
