Default 60lb valve spring questions

i just ordered me some 370's and now that i can fuel more im looking at valve springs i already have 4k gsk's but was wondering the difference in just doing exhaust vlave springs or both exhaust and intake srings? is it better to do all 12 or do you just really need 6 to be able to redline near 4k? any advantages in doing both?

thanks

BUT with all that fuel and a stock turbo valve springs wouldn't be on the top of my list of upgrade parts.

You only need exhaust springs. I would not spend the money to buy 12 60psi springs, there are better options if you wish to do all that work.

Smokem would you care to elaborate on this a touch more? You hint around like there is a way to steer away from the common role of just buying someones 60lb springs and putting them on.

Yes, there are better options. But it will require replacing all valve springs, locks, and retainers. If you do not wish to go that far, just get 6 springs for the exhaust side.

If you're spinning 4k, why are you not worried about valve float on the intake valves? I figured it would be just as likely.

Because the piston isn't chasing the intake valve closed.
