Default Mileage concious injectors

i'm trying to figure out what is the best injectors for a 98 cummins with the 215 pump. i'm looking for a clean injector, one that boasts factory or preferably better mileage, a little extra power wouldnt be turned away and for around 500 bucks. if someone could point me in the right direction

Having properly set up injectors are the main thing.

could you PM me a relatively close price? and how would i get my hands on a set? i already got the aproval for over 500 bucks, i dont want to get stuck with a reman injector and old internals that "pass inspection" or where they havent been properly bench tested and shimmed for pressure. also i'd like to get them by the 16th of november... so waiting for 3-4 weeks like i'm constantly hearing about really wouldnt be beneficial

Yep a good setup set of injectors that are set up the same help alot. Your injectors are prolly getting weak depending on the milage of the truck. I good set of 50hp to 90 will be a good choice

Are you wanting an upgraded Performance injector, or an upgrade fuel economy performance injector?
IF you're going for fuel economy with a little boost find an injector that is somewhat close to the original. You wont see a real significant increase in fuel economy with any performance enhancing injector yet. Unless you know how to tune for what you need, You can get better power with a good set of injectors. But I do know for a fact that you can only go so far with them. Gearing, Aerodynamics, Traction and Driving Techniques are the key. I know of one guy with a 2000 PowerStroke getting 28 mpgs highway. A local guy in my area is building a Dodge Cummins to do 30+mpg highway

The SDX 5 x12s are a great injector for what you're lookin for.
