Default Delivery Valve Question

Ok so i have never listened a whole lot on delivery valve science and what the actual noticeable gains. So here is my question, I have the factory 131's in my truck and a friend just put lazer cuts in his truck and has the 181's out of it. What would be the advantages and disadvantages to swapping the 181's into my truck? I have heard a touch on 131/181 hybrids, what is there to this hybrid and would it be worth messing with? Thanks for any advice!

94 12 valve, Im not really wanting to completely get rid of my 131's, Im one of those people who like to hang on to everything like that so i can have options and things to tinker with. However back home in Missouri i have an extra set of 131's out of a truck i swapped 191's into if you are truly wanting a set of 131's but I also have another question... Cant you send 131's off and have them cut to like full cuts? Because i if so i was thinking of later on down the road in a few months of like sending them to sdx or buying a set of sdx's comp delivery valves when i try to get started on the build up a little more. Thanks for the response and sorry for the rookie questions. I havent started reading up on DV's until now as far as exact science goes of whats going on other than just more fuel. And if you dont mind me asking why are you after a set of 131's with a set up like yours?

Cut a couple sets of them for various people. All have loved them if they have the air to back them up. Ive run a set in one of our test trucks and would not run them on the street, but thats just me. The set that was in the test truck is now in TURBOLVR's truck, and he also likes them. They do fuel ALOT. We will be running them in our 2.6 truck next year.
