There are good cheap ways to do things and bad cheap ways... That one there is a bad one. Just my opinion.

whats it hurting? I've read it doesnt really do anything but give you 3k on revs

i've heard of guys doing 1 click only, eventually you'd think the stock spring would lose its tension, think of an ink pen spring when you stretch it, it doesnt ever stay that length it typically compresses back to its original length and coil. i'd assume this is possible too just in reverse, eventually you'll start losing rpms. if you're going to be in there might as well only be in there once...

so basically to revert this back all i gotta do it take off that circle cover on the side of the pump and then turn the bolt counter clock wise, 5 clicks?

You should honestly probably back them all the way off and go one initial then 3 more clicks... Someone chime in if they think other wise.

so whats the process of backing these puppies down? simply opening up the side of the pump and ticking it backwards 5 times or do i need to line springs up or something?

It doesn't hurt anything. You can get 5k out of stock springs.
