Default Turbo Swap Questions

Can someone please post me link to a post or site, or clue me in on putting a VGT on a second gen. It would be greatly appreciated.

A VGT on a truck not intended for one would be interesting. I have talked about the same thing with some coworkers. A external module would be needed to control the VGT, and I'm pretty sure no one makes one.

Fleece Performance has a standalone controller for the VGTs there not selling it to the public yet but I imagine that they will soon though, they put a VGT on a 00 24 valve in this months Diesel Power issue using this controller. There are some video's on you tube you can search for with second gen VGTs. I looked into putting one on my truck but I found out no body makes a "kit" yet so you need a tig welder to do all your own duct work and you need to custom make a down pipe it seemed pretty straight forward but it intells a LOT of custom work.
