Does any one know if you can buy a new housing just for the governor end of a p pump. I bought a motor that came of a bus, only problem is the guy who took it out cracked the governor housing on the pump. The rest of the pump looks good and saw that there are bolts holding the gov housing to the rest of the pump.

 

You might wanna try Gateway Diesel inc. over in New Kensington, Pa they are a diesel fuel shop that has been around for a while since the 70s or 80s i think from whut i can remember whut my instructor said he had worked there for 25 years, but that would be ur best bet maybe i gotta give them a call i also need a new governor housing my AFC bolt holes are stripped

You can swap them, you might want to have a shop to it though.

 

imamindlessone why not just dill and retap your housing since its just the afc bolt holes is all that is wrong?....i've done a couple that way
