still confused
a high HP 12V on the street is somewhat like peeling an apple with a sword. It can be done, and it can be fun....but it can be a handful. you have to make some accomodations
big pump, lots of fuel, lots of turbo = less streetability. smoke control/lag/transient engine response all play into the situation.
i understand that. i would probably be happy with 500hp. my truck is just so slow it pisses me off my tranny is fine its a+ but my truck runs 11.5 in a eighth mile and thats ssllooow. i know diesles aint made for speed though. and i gotta 355 gear. my buddy has a duramax or with a lb7 i think and his truck has a egde attitude and will kick sideways when he gasses it on extreme. and he will absolutely leave my truck no questions asked. id bet if i had over 600hp he still would

i understand that but i want a straighshift. and everybody sayin i may get 500hp then ill get a 650 clutch figured that it will last longer. but its a little this little that rite now it will be a while before i get it all done bcuz first is to repaint it. then a lift wheels tires, and then build a tranny
