electric fuel pump on 12v
so im wondering how this works exactly, i know on the 24v the lift pump is controlled by the computer and tps so that when you give it more throttle the fuel psi goes up, my question is does it work the same way on the 12v, you would have to get a computer to control it? or can you just wire it straight to a 12volt ign. source and use the ofv to control fuel pressure?

Till you buy the pump, then the filters and filter heads, throw in the labor to assemble it and wire it,you will be further ahead to just buy one of the many that are available today.
My FASS 200GPH is wired through a relay which is triggered from inisde the truck on a switch and all the heavy wiring for the pump stayed out under the hood. The main power wire goes from the battery to the relay then back to the pump with the smaller trigger wire ran inside the cab to the toggle switch to turn it on and off.

on the 24vs yes but on the 12vs the fuel pump runs off the camshaft so they dont pump fuel until the motor is spining
i was thinkin about putting the pump on with a 2micro filter and using the stock filter still, you can buy the universal filter assembly from napa for under 50bux and i can assemble it all myself, i already have enough switches in the cab so i would just put the relay on a ignition source
