i would like to grind the fuel plate in my 1994 cummins but i dont know the size of the tamper proof screw.

i also read something about some kind of govener or cam thing that you can mess with right below the fuel plate can you explain please. what will it do?

i also wanted to take the silencer off my turbo and the baffles out of the tube is this a good idea? any pointers?

i want to get the most out of my stock turbo (one guy siad that he had 38 psi out of it)
is there any thing that i can do to my stock boost elbow?

are there any other things you can tinker with to improve?

sorry for the igorance.
any pointers would be a huge help!

also where are the turbo baffles?

There isn't a size to the tamper proof screw; THEY AREN'T SUPPOSED TO COME OUT.

With that being said, grab a chisel and a hammer and turn the screw counterclockwise by pounding the chisel down on the side of the tamperproof screw.

The "cam thing" you are hearing about is a fuel plate.

The "governor thing" you hear about are governer springs which keep the truck fueling to the 3k rpm point or the 4k rpm point.

What baffles are you talking about in the turbo? I've never heard of those. The silencer ring removal will sound GOOD on it though.

There aren't any boost elbows stock on these; but you can install a boost elbow and run about 35psi on the stock turbo.
