Default fuel plate vs tranny

I just bought a #6 fuel plate for my 95' 12-valve. Is this gonna been too much fuel for the almost stock auto tranny? Thanks

Not so much of a jerk but more torque then a stock trans will take. If you think you can restrain your right foot, and have the $$$ to put into the truck, put it in. I would put it about stock location though, but thats just my opinion.

ya put it in the stock location, if have the money do a single disk tc and shift kit and then your tranny will hold the power pretty good, you can get the parts for around 500 bux

the tranny will handle it but the tc wont, if you run the plate dont throttle hard with tc locked
