4k gov springs = SUPER touchy throttle
That would be true, if he had stock Gov Springs. Once you install a GSK, it will continue to fuel hard to 3k or 4k RPM. Problem is, once you pass 3000 you run the risk of floating vlaves and contacting the piston. So guys install 60lb valve springs. Those will keep you safe to 4k or so.
i dont know i havent towed with them yet itll be a while before i tow im just workin out the final quirks from the project. im going to do the 60lb springs too fairly soon
after 2 days of driving it im already pretty used to it and dont mind it at all. its not too hard to control when you know how to drive it and it is nice to have it when you want it there
You can do more return spring to stiffen the pedal up so it isn't quite so touchy or like mentioned early back them off a click. I would probably do both personally, I've also liked the 12 valves I've drove with more return spring.
