what does that mean, and also if youre gonna put 4k springs in you should look at some valve springs too

 

im doing valve springs when i O ring the head, 5g or 6g get to the 6's

You could,but it would require a huge amount of fuel to spool them and would be very smoky on the street.

 

well the truth be told that 600 can be had for under 2k. my drag truck and my buddies drag trucks all are above 600 dyno proven. my buddy has a HX55, had his pump benched,has a 4k kit, 022 dv's and 22* timing. and he put down 642-1200+

HX55-$500
pump benched-$350
4k kit w/sprngs-$250
022's-$250
timing-free- i did it for him.

well this is all after he put in a DD clutch of course. and billet input.

just sayin it is possible to do on the cheap

 

he did 600+hp on stock 12v injectors?

 

ha ha my bad. he has SDX 5x14's-$550

 

500+550+350+250+250 = $1900 so far ... add the price of guages the clutch ( 1800+) the billet input 700 and upgraded hydro ( 250 ish?). Not to mention head studs and other odds and ends and you are WELL over your 2k amount.

I'm not trying to be a jerk just informing everyone that 2k is not gonna get you a 600+ hp truck that is gonna live a good long life.
