Default O-Ring vs. Fire Ring

just want some opinions on what you guys think... mostly DD truck, will be pulled on the weekends. fire ring it or o-ring it, planning on running over 70psi.

if your wanting to run that high of pressure you should have it fire ringed but with whats in your sig that charger will imploded

O-rings head and block fire rings are funny about heat cycles on the street

+1 on O-ring.

Fire ring In My Opinion is for a 99% competition vehicle. not a daily driver.

fire ring it, mines a dd and i dont have a problem with it. and idk how long o rings would hold runnin 70 psi.

mine do just fine turning 5000 rpm, with 30* of timing, and over 60 psi boost

well good, im just going from bad experiences with ppl coming to the shop with blow head gaskets and they have o rings. not saying its wrong, im just saying if it was me, id fire ring it.

Like stated for a competition rig then yes, but a DD that sees lots of heat cycles some last and some don't.

Just my 2 cents.... I would run fire rings thats what I had done to mine, I talked to alot of shops out here and they said there the only way to go, Just make sure the first month or so take it kinda easy and re-torque the head a couple times hot and a couple times cold then you should be golden after that.
