Default transfer pump

hey i was wondering what would cause my fuel pressure gauge to fluctuate between 15 and 25 psi at idle the needle bounces back and forth quickly also does this while driving but a lesser amount. was only bouncing a few psi for a few months. started truck yesterday and its going crazy. is my transfer pump smoked? any ideas would be helpful? if pump is junk what are you guys running?

i run an airdog and have zero problems at all i love it. but as with your gauge, alot of people put a snubber valve before the sender for the gauge, because the pulse of the fuel flow can sometimes cause them to go haywire

You need to install a needle valve or a pressure snubber ASAP or you will bugger your guage. Get a needle valve and run it barely cracked open.

Need details on how you fp gauge is installed. Electric or mechanical? Isolator/no isolator? How is it plumbed in? Need details.

my gauge is mechanical, and i am running an isolator, plumbed in using a tapped banjo bolt in the inlet line on the top of the stock fuel filter housing. i have the filter relocation kit. where do you get needle valves or a snubber?

You could have some air in the boost line from the isolator to the gauge.
