Default Want to go faster!

just got my new truck and i put #6 Plate in it FF and everything turned up. It would smoke alot but its just not fast like i cant even burn the tires out so what do i need to do i turned the star wheel back and dosent smoke as much but still is not fast. I thought about moving the plate up some but i mean what will help. Ive got about a 1000$ to spend so what next.

Get dome gauges if you don't already have some then bump the timing up to round 16

like i cut the line to the waste gate. afc ff #6plateff and those 191delivery valves and i got gauges and it runs pretty hot will timing make the temps go down.

its running hott cause you have 191dv's and stock injectors

Huh.. a 7k lb diesel dually wont burn it's tires. Son of a b*tch imagine that.

But anyways with the few mods in my sig I can lite up the tires on the right pavement and right clutch popping in 3rd gear. With 5 people in the truck. And 1,070 lbs of sand bags over the rear tires.


Ask me how I know...

Bumping the timing should make your egt's go down a little bit. Aftermarket turbo and injectors would help alot

If you just want to go faster...
I don't see anything about a 3k/4k Governor Spring Kit (GSK) in your descriptions.

Heh... ever think of just buying corvette or something?
