Cards overdrive adjustment?

I posted yeserday with no luck so i'm postin agin havin trouble with the over drive on my truck, mainly when going up hills. The truck has always done it. my question is has anyone put this kit or one like it on they're truck. The kit replaces the sock throttle position senser and allows you to ajust the overdrive shift ponits. -- Specializing In Diesel Performance and Custom Fabrication --

What I'd like to know is if I have my foot on the floor will it still shift at say 40mph into 4th if I set it to shift there with light throttle? Will it downshift if I'm going 45mph in 4th and I floor it?

Right now mine shifts too soon into 4th for my tastes and luggs until I get up to speed under part throttle.

Have you tested the TPS voltages? That might help to get you set up for stock at least to start with..

Thanks, I've been searching for that!

I haven't checked mine with my DVOM, but I knocked out the sleeves and drilled the holes a tad larger, then adjusted it with as much preload as it would allow. It still shifts the same with no difference, so I left it until I could look into it further.

What bothers me some is that I can adjust my TV cable to where every shift is perfect under part throttle, even 3-4 and it changes too, but then WOT it won't shift 2-3. I have some parts coming to try to fix the 2-3 shift, and I might even just leave it and adjust the TV cable like I like and just install a 4kGSK
