Ive read several things on here that say smoke and power go hand in hand, is this not true?? And I wasnt saying that I wanted all smoke, just saying that I liked it to smoke alot. But thanks for all the advice!
I'm really not one to talk ( after my last dyno run) but tons of fuel and smoke does not always mean your making power.

Here is a great example, when I had my afc tight with only slight haze of pre boost smoke I made 585 RWHP. Same truck but with a loose afc smoked out half of the parking lot at the spring fling and made 539rwhp.

Having the extra fuel is nice but having the proper airflow for that fuel is sweet!

(cause I like alotta smoke)
Let me guess.....Your 16 right?

Smoke doesn't mean SQUAT when it comes to making power. What is does do is show how much of a tool you really are driving around in your mobile smoke show.

A guy who runs around with his truck puffin the neighborhood out=a easy mark for a properly tuned truck to embarrass.

One other thing that confuses me with the newbies is how you can want better fuel milage while turning up your truck. While milage may increase a tad its all relative to your right foot and how you control it but they need to understand that fueling increases will always lower milage.

Luke...
One has to remember that ANY injector sized above a stock one in a tuned 12v is a "dirty" injector. Some are worse than others but you will not find a 12v that has a modified pump and aftermarket injectors that does not throw soot, its not going to happen.Marine 370's are what they are and if installed correctly, used with proper timing and the pump is tuned correctly they are no worse than any other injector out there, they just take a little more work to make them manageable.

DDP injectors are all made from the marine injector and were one of the biggest disappointments I made the mistake in spending money on.They were the biggest POS I ever seen and my stock injectors with over 100k popped better than the DDP's new out of the box.I was VERY glad I had them checked before we did the install on them as how messed up they were it would have been meltdown time.

Hey Dave...
I wonder if gl seen our happiness with our performances at Spring Fling.I think the hassle meter was in overload that weekend but as unhappy as we were,Lloyd got more than us.

I agree with the tuners and combos comment but even having the help you need sometimes doesn't equal big results.I do not even have the stomach to add up the HUGE pile of reciepts I have from all the stuff we tried on my truck along the way,it would make me ill to do that.
