Before I let my friend commit to this sell, I want to make sure it'll work. I have a buddy with a 96 12v and he is thinking about buying a Aurora 4000 off a 7.3 powerstroke. I know they both use the T3 flange and it looks like if the turbo is reclocked it'll work. Will this work?

And we already know he needs to get the downpipe if it'll work

 

aurora 4000? Thats not a stock 7.3 turbo. The 7.3s use garrets.

 

I know its not stock..... the guys selling it is having his engine built by ATS and getting an Aurora 6000 to replace his 4000

I don't know never had a reason to try, used bolt on chargers are not that pricey

Why is that scary? I don't want to start anything, but I've been to their shop, I seen their warranty, and I know 5 guys that are running 10s and 11s with ATS built engines.
