Default opinions on mods

I got a 96 12v and some basic mods. I would like it to be a street/strip kinda thing. I'm fittin to take it to a shop here in WV and get some work on it. I drive up here (WV) from texas so reliability is important. I have to have a clutch and new tires, radiator and leaks fixed. I wanting some opinions on what to do next. I'm think studs (or mighty diesel allen bolts) pyro and boost guage, head gasket, port and polish, boost elbow, and 60lbs springs and 4k gov spring. If theres something that is a great upgrade of the cost i'd like to know.
I need to turbo up cuz its smokey as hell from the pump mods and 300marine injr's.

I may tow a boat but we live on the lake and its not big. I don't have a tow hitch and doubt i'll add one. Mostly wanting to kill stuff light to light or on the 1/4mi. Me and my brother are in comp. with one another and so far he's kicking my ***. I really want not to smokey of power (unlike it is now, super smoky) around 500hp. And i need it reliable. I drive right but if i need to i'd like to rotate the earth backwards, you smell what i'm stepping in.

NVs don't like be shifted hard best upgrades I can tell you is a DD big input shaft full spline main shaft small set of twins better injectors timing o-rings cam traction bars head work. Biggest question being how much you looking to spend?

On a side note where in WV are you located?

By Rock cave or Weston. Outside of tires and radiator its really up to what i gather on here. I could go up to about 3k on everything else. But if that can't cover it i got a rainy day fund. That not enough?

I've heard that the marine injectors are smokey by nature, so I would say if that bothers you get some better injectors?

Get a DD with a plate load around 3400. A 3k gsk orings and head studs. Those things are good building blocks and will let you grow when you have more funds.
