yes im sure it has a 5.9. 160hp 400 tq. not ppumped, has rotary pump like a 1st gen. And if you have an old F600 w/the larger engine, most likely its an 8.3l. They're almost the same dimensions on the outside as a 5.9 cummins, so read the tag to see what it is.

left side of timing gear cover near the bottom of engine. Prob has crud on it, just wipe the drivers side w/a rag and ull see somethin shiny, read that, itll tell ya.

 

i think the n14 is a 14 liter & upwards of 550 hp 1800 ft/lbs torque.

 

You can get N14s from 350hp and up.

 

Well....I have absoulutely nothing to add to this, but I was here anyway.....

 

there is a 94 or 95 1ton dually close to where i live, was gonna be a show truck, has like 22 inches of lift and monster truck suspension, and yada yada, but he put an allison out of some kind of bus in the truck and it was computer controlled to shift. like the dump trucks you can either put them in drive, or its got a little up and down arrow you can manual shift through the gears. but he had trouble and couldnt get it to shift right so he put the stock tranny back in it and its all for sale now. sweet truck, wish i had pics to show.
